We are representing a leading well-established financial services group in South Africa renowned for its extensive national network of financial advisers and its commitment to client success. They are dedicated to providing their advisers with best-in-class technology to drive business growth and deliver exceptional client service.
This is a unique opportunity to join the core technology team responsible for the companys most critical business tools. You will be instrumental in developing and enhancing the central CRM platform and client-facing portals used daily by hundreds of advisers nationwide. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of the advisory network and the quality of the digital experience for their end-clients. This isnt just a coding role; its a chance to build the engine that powers a major financial services enterprise.
Performance Objectives for Year One
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to achieve the following objectives within the first 12 months:
- Deliver Key Platform Enhancements: Take ownership of developing significant new features and components for the core CRM platform and its associated client-facing portals successfully moving them from specification through to deployment in a collaborative agile environment.
- Enhance the Mobile Experience: Contribute directly to the development of the companys Android and iOS client applications building and releasing new functionalities that improve user engagement and provide tangible value to clients.
- Improve Codebase and Architecture: Proactively identify opportunities to improve the existing software stack. You will be expected to make and implement suggestions that enhance the scalability security and maintainability of the codebase for the future.
- Streamline a DevOps Culture: Actively contribute to industrializing solutions using DevOps principles. You will help automate and improve deployment processes to increase the speed and reliability of software delivery across the team.
- Forge Strong Collaborative Partnerships: Establish a highly effective and collaborative working relationship with internal Business Analysts Testers and the external software development partner ensuring clear communication and efficient problem-solving to deliver integrated solutions.
Profile for Success
To achieve these objectives you will need a track record of the following:
Demonstrated experience developing robust applications using
C#.
Proven ability to contribute to the full software development lifecycle in an
Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience working on complex business systems ideally within the
financial services industry on CRM or client portal solutions.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field is required.
Experience with PHP and native mobile development (Android/iOS) would be a significant advantage.
