About the Position
Girton Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic Health and Physical Education Teacher to construct and teach curriculum where every student is inspired and challenged to improve their skills and understanding of Physical Education
This is a part-time (0.53 FTE) and fixed-term parental leave teaching position starting in January 2026 and finishing in November 2026.
Your role will be to create design develop and deliver curriculum that is challenging educational inclusive enjoyable and encourages optimal outcomes.

- Appropriate qualifications and registrations as a teacher.
- A passion for and demonstrated curriculum knowledge of applicable subject areas.
- Demonstrated effective delivery of teaching and learning programs.
- A commitment to professional development.
- Excellent personal communication administrative and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and child safety demonstrating an understanding of appropriate behaviours. when engaging with children including children with diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Strong skills in the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) especially as they relate to teaching and learning.
- Commitment to co-curricular activities.
