Position: Senior Assistant Accountant
Location: New Farm Brisbane

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver accurate weekly KPI and performance reports
- Manage payroll administration on a weekly basis
- Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
- Review and correct team errors to ensure financial accuracy
- Complete statutory lodgements and month-end processes including reconciliations and P&L analysis
- Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations and manage intercompany accounts
- Analyse purchasing behaviour and KPIs to identify trends risks or potential fraud
- Respond to internal and external stakeholder inquiries
- Support financial benchmarking and analysis of network performance
- Assist with additional administrative and financial duties as directed by the Finance Manager and CFO
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in accounting roles
- Proficiency in Xero is essential
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll laws; experience with TANDA is highly regarded
- Familiarity with both state and federal statutory requirements
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables formulas data analysis)
