Job Description

The City of Clayton Municipal Courts Department is seeking applicants for the Court Assistant position. The Court Assistant position assists with providing customer service and clerical support to the Municipal Court and Traffic Violations Bureau. This position reports to the Court Administrator.

Employee Compensation:

  • Competitive starting salary: starting at $20 per hour.

Required Qualifications of the Court Assistant Position:

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Two (2) years previous work experience in customer services court law office or police experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Show-Me Court IMDS REJIS and cash handling experience.

Successful candidates for the position will be required to successfully complete additional screening including but not limited to the following: Background investigation employment and reference checks pre-employment drug screening.
