Compensation: Base plus commission

Jacksonvilles best upholstery shop is hiring and we have an immediate opening for an experienced top-notch furniture upholsterer in our custom upholstery division! Whether you are already upholstering in Jacksonville FL or are a furniture upholsterer considering a move to sunny Northeast Florida its a great time to come work for our furniture upholstery business and put your professional furniture upholstering skills to work for the very best! Compensation is very competitive with a base hourly rate plus generous commission.

WHAT WE NEED: If this is you we need you!
- Experience in upholstering is a MUST!
- Positive attitude
- Trainable
- Take pride in a job well done
- Able to lift and/or carry more than 50 lbs.
- Able to responsibly handle cleaning solutions cleaning agents chemicals and gases and wear safety goggles gloves and/or dust masks when necessitated by prep or cleaning tasks
- Able to operate equipment safely and according to manufacturers instructions
- Able to stand for extended periods of time push pull bend reach and make repetitive motions
- Able to read write speak and hear
- Drivers license and record of safe driving
- Clean background (we perform background checks and drug testing for all employees)
- Wish list: Do you have previous experience providing high end sewing or upholstering or working in a related field Do you pay attention to detail and take pride in your work Do you have a diploma or GED We really want to meet you!
