Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze stormwater management systems including detention/retention ponds culverts storm sewers and channel improvements.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software such as HydroCAD HEC-RAS SWMM and StormCAD.
- Prepare stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) erosion control designs and drainage impact studies.
- Conduct site grading and drainage design for land development transportation and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop project plans specifications and reports.
- Ensure designs comply with local state and federal stormwater regulations including MS4 permits and FEMA floodplain requirements.
- Assist in preparing technical reports feasibility studies and permitting documentation.
- Support project managers with client coordination permitting and construction support services.
- Perform site visits and field investigations as needed.
