About the Role

We are currently seeking bright and kind individuals who are passionate about developing and inspiring people delivering quality service to our clients and are operationally-savvy. As an Assistant Operations Manager you will closely partner with an Operations Manager and/or GM to support and lead a team of supervisors process leads and associates to achieve our this role you will support strategic planning and execution of department and building-wide targets and initiatives to support our company goals.

  • Lead a team of supervisors and warehouse associates or facilitate labor planning for the full site focusing on execution and achieving our companys vision.
  • Lead and/or support Operations Managers on special projects as required
  • Onboard and welcome new and cross training team members ensuring they are integrated smoothly into the team.
  • Guide support and manage your direct reports and/ or our teams to ensure they successfully meet their objectives.
  • Actively motivate and mentor your team members to foster a collective culture of continuous improvement at our site and across our network.
  • Overcome challenges and obstacles by working collaboratively with cross-functional partners within the site across the network and across the organization.
  • Demonstrate agile leadership skills to navigate through ambiguous situations with a problem solving mentality and instill the same mindset in your team.

    • You have 5 years of people leadership experience while demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and consistent influence of other people managers of large teams. (Required)
    • Demonstrate excellence in Microsoft Office or G Suite and maintain an open mindset towards learning and mastering new systems. (Required)
    • Experience setting efficiency standards and assessing short and long-term expectations at the department level.
    • Ability to incorporate network priorities plans and objectives into prioritizing and making business decisions.
    • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to see opportunities for synergy and integration simplify complex processes and align cross-functionally for maximum efficiency.
    • Ability to develop business cases (ROI) in support of proposed solutions by critically thinking and intuitively assessing business employee and client impact/risk.
    • Analyze daily performance data to identify trends and opportunities and make data informed decisions to respond to changing operational needs and manage change effectively.
    • Experience working effectively with internal and cross-functional partners to support the successful implementation of change
    • Embodies values of Trust Integrity and Innovation as aligned with our OS while being responsible for enabling autonomy and building trust and accountability with the teams you manage.
    • Flexibility is important as you should be available to address issues outside of standard business hours and willing to work on nights or weekends as required.

Compensation and Benefits

This role will receive a competitive salary and benefits. The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with the range below which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someones compensationincluding a candidates professional background experience location and position is eligible for an annual cash award depending on employee and company addition the position is eligible for medical dental vision and other benefits. Salary Range
$68700$80800 USD
