Job Description
As a Network Operations Engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of the organizations network infrastructure. You will be working closely with the Senior Network Engineers and other IT professionals on relevant projects and ensure that the network keeps running with no constrains to our clients.
Key duties and responsibilities
Support and implement complex network solutions to meet business needs
Configure and manage network hardware including switches routers firewalls and load balancers
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues ensuring optimal network performance and availability
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of the network and its integration with other systems
Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and users at various levels within the organization
To be successful you will have:
Min 3 years of multivendor network/security hands on experience
Knowledge with multivendor network design Fortinet/Aruba is desirable
Knowledge on WiFi network solutions implementation and troubleshooting
Knowledge of network security including firewalls VPN and access controls
Knowledge on network automation and IaC concepts will be a plus
Responsible structured proactive and solution-oriented working
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills
Qualifications & education
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field
Vendor based certifications will be a plus (CCNA CCNP ACSA ACSP NSE4 DevNet)
