We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a committed and skilled practitioner to join our new Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN) team within Fife Councils Children & Families and Justice Directorate as a Family Resource Worker.

MST-CAN is an intensive evidence-based community intervention designed to support families where children are at risk due to physical abuse and/or neglect. The programme works intensively with families over a 69 month period to:

We are seeking a Family Resource Worker to support and assist the delivery of MST-CAN Interventions working alongside MST-CAN therapists and contribute to reducing the number of children and young people entering care.

You will promote develop and sustain successful partnerships across Children and Families but also across other services/teams that ensure the inclusion of children young people and families receiving treatment by working flexibly and managing their own diary.

Before confirming to your appointment you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
