Job Title: Cashier

Job Summary:
As a Cashier at our haunted attraction youll be the crucial first point of contact setting the tone for an unforgettable visitor experience. Youll expertly process payments manage inventory and elevate guest satisfaction through exceptional customer service and strategic upselling. Your role is key to creating a seamless and thrilling introduction that keeps guests coming back for more.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Processing
- Operate the Square payment system to efficiently and accurately process cash credit and debit transactions.
- Issue receipts and handle refunds or exchanges promptly and in accordance with company policies.
- Balance the cash register and generate end-of-day financial reports to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Customer Service
- Welcome guests with a smile and deliver friendly immersive assistance to enhance their experience
- Provide clear information about the attraction pricing and special offers.
- Address customer concerns or complaints professionally ensuring guest satisfaction.
Upselling and Add-Ons
- Promote and sell merchandise add-ons and upgrades to maximize guest enjoyment and drive revenue1.
- Inform guests about bundle deals and special promotions to encourage additional purchases.
Inventory Management
- Monitor merchandise stock levels and promptly report low inventory to management.
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining a clean organized sales area.
- Participate in regular inventory counts to ensure accurate tracking of all items.
Queue Management
- Support the efficient flow of guests by assisting with queue line management and maintaining a positive atmosphere
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply and work in this role.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends with a strong commitment to reliable and consistent attendance.
- Comfortable standing and moving throughout the event area for extended periods during each shift.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and poise.
- Experience operating the Square payment system or demonstrated ability to learn new point-of-sale technology quickly and efficiently.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for restocking and inventory management tasks.
