You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Clery Compliance Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the Universitys Clery Act Compliance Program. This position ensures institutional adherence to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act by working collaboratively with multiple campus partners. Reporting directly to the Assistant Chief of Police within the Department of Public Safety the Clery Compliance Manager plays a critical role in promoting transparency accountability and compliance through accurate reporting training and program oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare publish and distribute the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.
Collect crime and disciplinary referral data from various internal and external sources including the Office of Student Conduct Student Assistance Department of Residence University Police and outside law enforcement agencies.
Serve as records custodian for all Clery Act-related records.
Coordinate the submission of annual crime statistics to the U.S. Department of Education.
Research compile and produce reports requiring data collection graphs and analysis.
Distribute annual requests for crime statistics to all Campus Security Authorities (CSAs).
Review and update entries for the Daily Crime Log and ensure availability to the public.
Send Travel Letters to appropriate law enforcement jurisdictions.
Work with the University Police Records Clerk to ensure proper crime classification.
Coordinate with the University Police Investigations Unit to update the disposition of all crime reports within required timelines.
Assist in managing the Universitys Timely Warning Program.
Partner with departments across campus to develop and implement Clery Act-required policies programs and procedures.
Identify and maintain a list of all CSAs for each academic year.
Provide Clery Act training to CSAs university staff and key stakeholders as well as orientation training for new Department of Public Safety personnel.
Create and deliver presentations on Clery Act requirements to third-party vendors and contractors providing services for university-sponsored events.
Stay current with pending and final changes to the Clery Act as well as related federal and state laws policies and regulations.
Provide support for Department of Public Safety operations during special events as needed.
The candidate we are looking for will have:
Five years of related experience which includes at least three years working in Clery compliance Title IX or other records management positions.
