The Lead Employment Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized plans to support individuals with disabilities in securing and maintaining community-based employment. This full-time position serves the East Central Indiana area.

Responsibilities:
- Match employer expectations and needs to the abilities and strengths of underemployed or unemployed individuals with disabilities.
- Assist client in interview preparation and transportation.
- Communicate and meet with referring entities in regard to planning client evaluation and job placement efforts.
- Marketing and developing new areas.
- Maintain existing relationships with businesses referring agencies and staff: Employment Consultants Job Coaches SEFA Coordinators Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors and Business Partners.
- Attendance for work per requirements of program Benchmark and client specific needs.
- Recruit mentor train and review staff.
- Participate in transition councils.
- Coordinate department newsletter.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- College degree and/or some experience preferred
- Three (3) years experience in business world in management or supervisory role.
- A minimum of three (3) years of continuous recent experience in a single position or with one employer.
