Description
Overview/Function: The role provides miscellaneous support to the delivery/warehouse teams truck maintenance shop and building and grounds maintenance.
Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for forklift propane maintenance.
- Conduct daily checks of trailers for raw materials and full goods.
- Wash trucks and trailers
- Maintain housekeeping duties (cleaning organizing etc)
- Maintain company grounds (pick up trash shovel snow cut grass leaf removal)
- Responsible for processing all recycling materials produced by production facility
- Report problems or damages that occur.
- Regular consistent attendance is an essential job function.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED. (Equivalent experience will be considered.)
- Ability to read and follow directions and work orders.
- Ability to follow all safety requirements/protocols.
- Customer-focused and an excellent team-player who is flexible and willing to adapt to varying situations.
- Some light computer experience is helpful.
- Regular consistent attendance is an essential job function.
Additional:
- This position is very active. They will frequently lift and/or move items up to 55 lbs. (Moving equipment and tools will be provided to reduce strains and injury.)
- Standing walking twisting grasping reaching pushing pulling bending kneeling sitting stooping crouching crawling and climbing will be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- To accomplish their tasks the position will need to work around variety of weather environments which Iowa offers (i.e. sun rain sleet rain snow cold heat)
- Must have reliable transportation.
