Description / Position Overview

Utility Locator I - Asset Management
The City of Colorado Springs is ready to welcome a Utility Locator I to the Assest Management team! As a Utility Locator I you will support the City of Colorado Springs Utility Locate Program which is responsible for identifying locating and marking the location of all City-owned underground facilities to allow safe excavation and minimize damage and disruption of service.City-owned underground facilities include irrigation and stormwater fiber traffic signal power electricity (normally limited to lighting or other Park features) and communications installations.

Physical Demands:Exerting 50 -100 lbs. occasionally; 10-25 lbs. frequently; or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
