As the Senior Manager Quality Assurance and Standards you will play a pivotal role in ensuring RMIT UP maintains the highest standards of academic governance compliance and quality assurance. Reporting directly to the CEO you will provide expert advice on international education regulations and best practice in academic management while building strong relationships across RMIT and with external regulators.
In this role you will oversee the development and maintenance of policy frameworks manage RMIT UPs risk profile and lead compliance reporting to meet regulatory obligations including ESOS National Code Foundation Program Standards and ELICOS Standards. You will support governance boards and committees contribute to accreditation and audit processes and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
Leading a small but impactful team you will mentor and guide staff to deliver high-quality governance and compliance outcomes while ensuring alignment with RMITs broader values and strategic objectives
You will bring:
A relevant tertiary qualification (postgraduate desirable).
Proven leadership and management experience in an education setting.
Expert knowledge of risk and regulatory frameworks related to international education (ESOS Act National Code Foundation Program Standards ELICOS Standards HESF).
Strong experience in developing reviewing and implementing fit-for-purpose policies and procedures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage confidently with executives regulators and diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic advice and drive continuous improvement in governance and compliance.
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
A collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor coach and develop staff.
Sound judgement and decision-making under pressure.
