Job Summary

RN- Tele/PCU/ICU (Permanent Role)

Location: Denton TX 76208
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Essential Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and prioritize patient/family needs.
Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
Engage patients and families in therapeutic relationships to support healing and recovery.
Provide health education to patients families nurses and community members.
Document learning needs and progress; assess and revise care plans accordingly.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community resources for continuity of care.
Delegate and supervise tasks appropriately; follow up to ensure quality and completeness.
Apply critical thinking and evidence-based practices in clinical decision-making.
Uphold nursing ethics and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
Promote teamwork professional growth and contribute to peer development.

Key Success Factors:

In-depth knowledge of nursing care standards medical terminology and clinical practices.
Familiarity with nursing laws hospital policies and patient rights.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse patient interactions.
Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills in clinical settings.
Basic computer proficiency: Microsoft Office EHR systems email and hospital applications.
Commitment to patient safety efficiency and compassionate care delivery.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred).
Active RN License in the state of Texas.
BLS Certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire).
Experience Required:
- Strong Telemetry experience OR
- 1 year of PCU experience
- Cardiovascular or ICU experience highly preferred
