Job Title: Workday HR Manager
Location: Hybrid (Fremont CA)
Contract: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Transition Leadership
- Serve as the HR functional lead for the ongoing Workday implementation and stabilization.
- Partner with implementation consultants IT Finance and HR stakeholders to consolidate 4 business entities and 3 payroll/HR/time systems into Workday and a unified time system.
- Establish best practice processes in HR Payroll Time & Attendance and Benefits within Workday.
- Provide post-go-live stabilization issue resolution and user adoption support.
HR Leadership & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations across all entities ensuring compliance with labor laws regulations and internal policies.
- Lead and mentor HR team members ensuring consistent service delivery across the organization.
- Work with Finance to align HR and payroll processes with enterprise-wide financial planning and reporting.
- Support organizational design workforce planning and HR analytics through Workday reporting and dashboards.
Change Management & Communication
- Act as a change agent to drive adoption of Workday across the organization.
- Develop training communication and support strategies for HR staff managers and employees.
- Foster collaboration between HR Finance and business leaders to unify processes across entities.
Qualifications
Required:
- 7 years of HR leadership experience (Manager Supervisor or above) with proven ability to lead teams and cross-functional initiatives.
- 3 years of hands-on Workday experience (HCM Payroll Time Tracking Benefits modules preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HR operations compliance and best practices.
- Experience in system consolidation and HR process harmonization across multiple business units.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and change management skills.
- Ability to work hybrid in Fremont CA.
Preferred:
- Prior experience leading Workday go-live or stabilization phases.
- Background in manufacturing multi-entity organizations or complex workforce environments.
- Strong data-driven mindset with experience in Workday analytics and reporting.
