Job Summary:
Location: Hacienda Heights California United States
Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll including data entry timekeeping and calculating wages and deductions.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies regarding hours worked.
- Respond to employee inquiries about payroll taxes and deductions via email and phone.
- Maintain organized and secure payroll records according to company policy and legal requirements.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
Special Considerations:
- Onsite position Monday-Friday.
- No calling out allowed during the first two weeks of employment.
