Job Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level role with hands-on training and career growth opportunities in the low voltage structured cabling and data infrastructure field. The ideal candidate will have at least some familiarity with cable installation or wiring along with a strong willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation termination and testing of low voltage cabling systems (Cat5e Cat6 fiber coax etc.).
Support senior technicians in building out structured cabling pathway systems and device installation.
Pull label and route cable according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
Perform basic troubleshooting under supervision.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times.
Learn and apply industry best practices and standards (BICSI OSHA NEC).

Qualifications

Familiarity or basic experience with cabling wiring or electrical work (professional trade school or personal projects).
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Strong work ethic reliability and eagerness to learn.
Ability to lift 50 lbs climb ladders and work in a construction or data center environment.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus).
OSHA 10 certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
