Job Summary
Our client is a well-known heavy equipment dealer with over 30 years in business and a strong presence across the Midwest. Theyre hiring a Field Service Technician to support their Kansas City territory handling diagnostics and repairs on-site for key clients in construction agriculture and logistics.
This is a truck-based role youll be dispatched from home and supported by a responsive parts and dispatch team that knows how to keep techs productive (and not buried in admin work).
What Youll Do:
Travel to client sites for diagnostic and repair work on loaders dozers excavators and other heavy machinery
Handle preventive maintenance emergency repairs and warranty service
Use OEM diagnostic tools (CAT Komatsu Deere etc.) to identify and resolve issues
Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain findings and timelines
Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
What You Bring:
3 years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience
Familiarity with mobile diagnostics and field service tools
Ability to work independently and prioritize customer needs
CDL helpful but not required
Clean driving record and strong safety habits
