Job Description

Business Development Director North America
Location: Remote (Canada or U.S. preference for U.S.-based candidates)
Reports to: CEO
Travel: 25% within North America (U.S. and Canada)
Compensation: $150K-$200K USD base bonus health insurance 5 weeks vacation flexible work-from-home and summer Friday afternoons off

Recognized across Canada the U.S. and Latin America for their innovative approach visually striking work and strong industry reputation they operate in a unique market niche that blends real estate vision with cultural impact.

Role Overview

As Business Development Director North America you will lead strategic expansion across the U.S. and Canadian markets with a particular focus on securing high-value real estate projects ($500M-$1B).

You will be responsible for generating new business building lasting client partnerships and representing the brand at key industry events with Texas as a priority growth market alongside other high-potential regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted growth strategies for North American markets.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers in real estate and related industries.
  • Lead RFPs and proposal development in collaboration with sales and operations teams.
  • Represent the company at major conferences industry events and speaking engagements.
  • Monitor market trends to identify new placemaking and experiential design opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data manage pipelines and ensure smooth sales operations.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of progressive business development experience ideally in real estate creative agencies or cultural industries.
  • Established network within the U.S. real estate sector (preferred).
  • Strong presentation communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot G Suite and business development tools.
  • Skilled public speaker with experience in long-cycle consultative sales.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth and building partnerships.
