Job Overview
The Manager SMB Sales role at T-Mobile leads the hiring training and development of a high-performing sales team responsible for outside direct sales in a specific geographic area. Your inspirational leadership high energy and positive mindset is crucial to your teams success as both your income and theirs depend on team productivity. Youll create and monitor sales plans to drive success against sales goals ensuring your team of Account Executives excels. High expectations and a dynamic approach are key to thriving in this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Market share: Increase market share and achieve and exceed performance targets related to subscribers revenue and churn.
  • Sales quota: Meet or exceed overall sales quota for your assigned region.
  • Operational initiatives: Implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards.
  • Sales meetings: Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings.
  • Staff development: Interview hire train and develop a staff of successful Account Executives; Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field.


Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Verifiable new business customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment (Required)
  • 2 Years People management responsibilities (Required)
  • 2 Years Telecommunications/technical sales (Preferred)


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Coaching: Strong coaching skills with ability to conduct difficult conversations..i.e. change management. (Required)
  • Presentations: Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one on one (Required)
  • Business Sales: A proven track record of high yield business sales success (Required)
  • Negotiation: Well-honed negotiating and closing skills including communication emotional intelligence and problem-solving. (Required)
  • Recruiting: Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes in order to attract and retain top sales talent (Required)
  • Leadership: Proven leadership abilities including inspiring and motivating teams driving strategic initiatives and fostering a positive and productive work environment. (Required)

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $126500 - $228300 inclusive of target incentives

Base Pay Range: $88550 - $159810

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The successfulcandidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications andexperience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. To find the pay range for this rolebased on hiring location T-Mobile employees in regular non-temporary Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
