AlphaBEST Education is excited to announce an opening for the position of Manager of Employee Relations!
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our Human Resources team in this critical role. As the Manager of Employee Relations you will support employees and leadership in navigating complex workplace issues provide guidance on employee relations matters and help ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Additionally you will assist managers in driving the performance management process supporting them with LIFT (Learn Impact Focus Thrive) conversations tracking manager performance and providing coaching to enhance leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the go-to expert for employee relations issues managing investigations complaints and conflict resolution with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist managers in supporting the performance management process including LIFT conversations and provide coaching to enhance leadership skills.
- Track manager performance and provide insights to improve management effectiveness.
- Develop and review employee relations policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain reports on employee relations cases performance management trends and coaching outcomes.
- Partner with Learning & Development to facilitate training for employees and managers on conflict resolution performance management and company policies.
What You Bring to the Role:
- 5 years of experience in employee relations or HR with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in managing employee relations cases performance management processes and conflict resolution.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to guide managers in managing performance and team development.
- Strong understanding of labor laws employee relations best practices and compliance requirements.
- PHR or SHRM-CP Certification a plus
