Job Description
The Physician will utilize expertise to mitigate and treat injuries and illnesses to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis treatment and recovery request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists as necessary. Will coordinate medical referrals coordinate admission monitor and arrange final addition will require stabilization of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or CONUS. We are looking for candidates with a commitment to a proactive approach to workplace safety while taking a diplomatic and professional approach to customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mitigate and treat injuries and illnesses in a hospital setting.
- Ensures proper injury care and disease diagnosis treatment and recovery and requests necessary tests and follow up visits and refer patients to specialists as necessary.
- Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes and communication of issues.
- Completes required organizational compliance education including assigned requirements that are client-specified for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications :
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
- Current active full and unrestricted license as a physician from a State the District of Columbia the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or a territory of the United States.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Physician preferably in a remote site.
- Hyperbaric Medicine certification or FAA certification in addition preferred.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- American Heart Association - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification is preferred.
- DEA License.
Education Required:
- Doctor of Medicine Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association Association of American Medical Colleges Liaison Committee on Medical Education Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- May require bending stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
- On call requirements as part of a rotation
- Must be able to read write & speak English to effectively communicate
- This position is unaccompanied.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
- US DOD CNACI or the ability to obtain one is required.
- A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation.
Additional Information :
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
