This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and fast-paced Data Entry Typist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering updating and maintaining data in company databases and systems. This role requires excellent typing skills strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of information with accuracy and efficiency.
Enter and update data into internal databases spreadsheets and systems.
Verify the accuracy of data before inputting and ensure timely data entry.
Review and correct data entry errors submitted by staff or automated systems.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
Respond to data-related inquiries and provide requested information.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk typist or relevant office role.
Fast typing skills (at least 40 60 words per minute).
Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word Excel etc.).
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with office equipment and basic IT skills.
Experience with data management software or CRM platforms.
Familiarity with administrative duties and office procedures.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
