This is a remote position.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inputting updating and maintaining accurate information in our databases and systems. This role requires excellent attention to detail fast and accurate typing skills and the ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently.
Accurately enter data into databases spreadsheets and other digital systems.
Update and maintain information on a regular basis to ensure current and accurate records.
Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness.
Identify and correct errors in data before input.
Retrieve data from databases or electronic files as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data.
Perform routine data audits and assist with data cleanup projects.
Assist with generating reports and summaries as requested.
Organize and maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure data consistency.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in data entry is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role.
Excellent typing skills (minimum 40 50 words per minute with high accuracy).
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of databases and office equipment (printers scanners etc.).
Experience working with data management or CRM software.
Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
