The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish.
The Department of Youth and Community Developments Procurement unit is looking for a talented Staff Analyst to manage several program portfolios amongst various DYCD units by offering analytic support training and guidance to ensure contractor and DYCD compliance in support of DYCDs mission and vision.
The Analyst will:
- Review DYCD data base and management tools to assure vendors are meeting contractual services and performance goals.
- Candidates will be expected to have strong organizational skills and work collaboratively with various DYCD units to track vendor performance over the course of the contract term including but
not limited to reviewing programmatic and fiscal reports and providing technical support to vendors.
- Review DYCD data base and management tools to assure DYCD units are meeting expectations and performance goals.
- Candidates will be expected to have strong organizational skills and work collaboratively with various DYCD units to track DYCDs performance over the course of a fiscal year including but not
limited to reviewing registration data setting and reporting on cycle times develop reporting metrics for registration ad payments made to DYCD contractors
- Complete detailed performance reports and annual summaries for DYCD leadership
- Other duties as assigned.
ASSOCIATE STAFF ANALYST - 12627
Qualifications :
1. A masters degree from an accredited college or university accredited by regional national professional or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in economics finance accounting business or public administration human resources management management science operations research organizational behavior industrial psychology statistics personnel administration labor relations psychology sociology human resources development political science urban studies or a closely related field and one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration accounting economic or financial administration or fiscal or economic research; or in management or methods analysis operations research organizational research or program evaluation; or in personnel or public administration recruitment position classification personnel relations labor relations employee
benefits staff development employment program planning/administration labor market research economic planning social services program planning/evaluation or fiscal management; or in a related area; or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university accredited by regional national professional or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and three years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described in 1 above.
