Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and kickoff of electrical projects
- Manage all stages of a project (planning design execution budget tracking invoicing and closeout)
- Ensure projects meet technical excellence standards and timely delivery
- Contribute to improvements in electrical project management practices
- Lead manage and provide technical directions to project teams
- Serve as main contact for client and project teams
- Oversee a variety of projects (standalone electrical systems to more complex designs for larger projects)
- Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Master s degree preferred
- 8 years of consulting experience
- PE License or Florida Design Engineer of Record (DES)
- Experience designing low-voltage systems (fire alarm CCTV keyless entry security sound systems and media delivery)
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Thorough knowledge of Florida building codes ensuring compliance and best practices in every project phase
- Experienced in shop drawing/submittal review
- Experience in project management/client engagement
- Experience in plan production/technical project delivery
