Job Description
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and join our Capital Development Team as you deliver a diverse capital works program across Tasmania. Youll be the go-to for all things asset management and project delivery ensuring everything runs smoothly from planning to final sign-off. This role goes beyond the office; youll actively conduct site inspections resolve challenges on the ground and ensure the successful delivery of every project.
What you will do:
- Strategic Asset Management:
Develop and implement our Strategic Asset Management Plan maintain asset registers assess asset conditions and create asset class management plans. - Preventative Maintenance:
Design and roll out preventative maintenance programs to keep our parks running like clockwork. - Project Planning & Design:
Assist with proposals concept designs and project plans. Prepare cost estimates and budgets for business cases and ensure assets meet current regulations. - Compliance & Approvals:
Facilitate planning and building approvals ensuring every project ticks all the legal boxes. - Supplier & Contractor Engagement:
Prepare documentation for consultants manage tenders and quotes and oversee supplier and contractor engagement. - Project Delivery:
Monitor WHS management systems and on-site safety keep a close eye on environmental and building regulations and ensure minimal disruption to park operations and guests. - Reporting & Administration:
Track project costs schedules and quality. Manage claims contractual obligations and all project documentation.
What you will bring:
- Experience in project management asset management or capital works
- Accreditation or qualification relative to asset or systems management
- Proven experience in asset/facility management and project management.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a proactive approach to client contact
- Exceptional customer service focus and internal motivation
- Commitment to safety professionalism and integrity
