This is a remote position.
The Data Support Specialist will be integral to RJL s data infrastructure responsible for ensuring the integrity accuracy and usability of information across all property management and brokerage databases. This role supports internal stakeholders by maintaining high-quality data developing insights and promoting data-driven decision-making.
Data Accuracy & Validation
Review incoming data for completeness correctness and consistency.
Clean format and update data entries in databases spreadsheets or property management platforms.
Database Management & Maintenance
Enter new lease and property information client contact details and related transactional data accurately.
Regularly audit data to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies maintaining system health.
Reporting & Dashboard Support
Assist in generating and distributing routine reports such as occupancy trends lease expirations and activity logs.
Help develop dashboards or data visualizations to support operational monitoring and strategic insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Property Management and Brokerage teams to clarify data needs troubleshoot discrepancies and ensure data alignment.
Enable other departments with access to clean and properly formatted information.
Documentation & Best Practices
Establish and maintain documentation of data workflows entry standards and operating procedures.
Contribute to developing and refining data management processes and practices.
Support & Troubleshooting
Respond to ad hoc data queries and requests from team members.
Provide guidance during system updates or onboarding to ensure proper data handling and consistency.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate s degree or higher in Information Management Business Administration or related field preferred.
1 3 years of experience in data management data entry administrative support or operations particularly within real estate or similar industries.
Strong attention to detail organizational discipline and a commitment to high data quality.
Proficiency in spreadsheet tools; familiarity with database or property management systems is a plus.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying improvements.
