Job Description

The Spaceman Support Personnel is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for Spaceman applications and associated infrastructure. This includes database administration Windows system management application troubleshooting and client support across various platforms including Citrix and Microsoft Office 365. The role demands hands-on experience with SQL Server Oracle IIS and Windows environments ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance of Spaceman solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Database Administration

  • Manage SQL Server and Oracle databases: creation restoration and performance optimization.
  • Execute and troubleshoot SQL and Oracle queries connection issues and transaction problems.

Windows System Management

  • Install and configure Windows 10 11 and Server 2022.
  • Manage Windows Services and understand their interaction with user profiles.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system resources including memory GDI objects and print spooler.

Application Installation & Troubleshooting

  • Handle MSI package installations and resolve related issues.
  • Install configure and troubleshoot IIS especially for Spaceman Automation Server and Planogram Viewer Server.

Citrix Environment Support

  • Provide support for Spaceman applications within Citrix environments.
  • Assist clients with Citrix-related configuration and access issues.

Microsoft Office 365 Support

  • Support Excel Desktop usage including Macros.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Access Database Engine 64-bit and associated components.

Client Communication

  • Deliver professional and effective client support.
  • Communicate technical solutions clearly in both written and verbal English.

 


    Qualifications :

    Qualifications & Competencies

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (preferred).
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-facing role.

    Experience Level

    • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in technical support database administration and Windows system management.
