Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team in Prayagraj this role you will be responsible for providing expert technical support maintenance and repair services for our industrial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with a qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform on-site installation maintenance and repair of complex industrial machinery and systems
- Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and optimize performance
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction
- Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation of all field activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all field operations
- Manage multiple service projects simultaneously prioritizing tasks effectively
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends technologies and best practices
- Travel extensively within Prayagraj within the state of UP and other locations within the Northern part and surrounding areas to attend to client sites
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)or Diploma ( Electrical OR EEE)
- 5-7 years of experience in field service engineering preferably in industrial equipment maintenance and repair
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for complex machinery
- Extensive knowledge of industrial equipment and systems including their operation and maintenance
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Project management abilities and attention to detail
- Familiarity with safety protocols and industry regulations
- Experience in implementing preventive maintenance techniques and conducting root cause analysis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel extensively within Prayagraj and surrounding areas
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for reporting and documentation
