You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe IT Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the school s IT infrastructure including servers hardware systems and networking solutions. The role ensures smooth operation security and availability of all IT services supporting both academic and administrative functions of the school.
1. Server Management
Install configure and maintain servers (Windows/Linux).
Monitor server performance and optimize usage.
Implement regular backup and disaster recovery processes.
Manage user accounts permissions and access controls.
Ensure data security and system integrity.
2. Hardware Management
Maintain and troubleshoot desktops laptops printers projectors and other IT equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance and upgrades on hardware.
Manage IT asset inventory and procurement planning.
Ensure smooth functioning of classroom and office IT equipment.
3. Networking Management
Configure and maintain LAN WAN Wi-Fi networks and firewalls.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
Monitor bandwidth usage and ensure efficient internet distribution.
Implement network security policies and antivirus solutions.
Coordinate with vendors/ISPs for network and system support.
4. IT Support & Documentation
Provide technical support to staff and students.
Document IT procedures troubleshooting guides and maintenance logs.
Train end-users on IT best practices and safe usage.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Proven experience as IT Administrator / System Administrator.
Strong knowledge of servers networking protocols and hardware troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with firewalls routers switches and Wi-Fi management.
Familiarity with data backup security and disaster recovery systems.
Excellent problem-solving communication and time-management skills.
