Job Description
The Installation Electrician is responsible for the safe efficient and compliant installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This role ensures that all work meets Titan Electrical s quality standards client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Install test and commission electrical wiring systems and equipment according to design specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings wiring diagrams and building plans.
- Perform fault-finding and repairs on electrical installations.
- Install and connect lighting systems power points distribution boards and circuit breakers.
- Ensure compliance with the South African National Standards (SANS) and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Complete job cards installation reports and compliance certificates accurately.
- Liaise with clients professionally providing clear explanations of work carried out.
- Assist with mentoring apprentices and junior electricians when required.
Requirements
- Recognised Installation Electrician Trade Test (Red Seal) or equivalent.
- Valid Single Phase Wireman s Licence
- Minimum 3 5 years experience in electrical installations (domestic commercial and/or industrial).
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and plans.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Valid driver s licence.
- Willingness to work overtime weekends and travel when required.
Education
Senior Certificate or NQF4 equivalent.
