Job Description
We are working on behalf of an elite international firm to recruit a Senior Business Development Specialist to support the firms Corporate & Financial Services practice areas. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to spearhead high-impact business development initiatives collaborate closely with leading legal professionals and gain invaluable experience across a broad spectrum of sophisticated corporate and financial services matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice Development: Provide day-to-day support for business development and marketing activities across the relevant practice areas within Corporate & Financial Services including building a nuanced knowledge base of the practice areas and relevant services.
- Client and Market Intelligence: Conduct research on clients prospects competitors and industry trends to uncover business opportunities and inform strategic initiatives. Proactively monitor and track practice and industry experience to identify areas of emerging interest.
- Marketing Collateral: Draft update and manage a wide range of marketing materials including pitch decks practice and industry descriptions and brochures ensuring content is accurate compelling and consistently on brand.
- Directories: Manage legal directory submissions processes including drafting submissions coordinating with attorneys for references liaising with directory staff and communicating outcomes.
- Experience Management: Capture matter experience and leverage relevant data points for inclusion in pitch materials directories and league table submissions.
- Event Support: Collaborate with the Events and Communications teams to plan and execute impactful events sponsorships conferences and industry initiatives.
Credentials and Expertise:
- Educational Background: A bachelors degree is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of marketing business development or related experience preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.
- Capabilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills proven project management and attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
