Job Description
We are working on behalf of an elite international firm to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to serve as a primary liaison to the Capital Markets and Finance practice groups. Working directly with practice leaders the Senior Manager will develop lead and execute plans that support the overall business goals of the practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development and Execution: Partner with practice leaders to create and implement marketing and business development strategies leveraging market insights to drive strategy and differentiate service offerings.
- Project and Process Management: Lead RFPs pitches client events directory submissions and other BD projects for the group.
- Client Development: Optimize firmwide client development and marketing tools collaborate on enhancements and manage prospect lists key relationships and business development tracking to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Strategic Marketplace Visibility: Leverage marketing initiatives to increase revenue generation opportunities for the firm practice groups and individual partners.
Credentials and Expertise:
- Educational Background: A bachelors degree is required; a J.D. is a considerable plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of marketing business development or related experience preferably within a professional services or law firm environment. Prior experience in a capital markets or finance-focused role with a nuanced understanding of the firms practice areas and services is preferred.
- Capabilities: Exceptional writing editing and presentation skills combined with strong critical thinking sound judgment and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Adept at building strong relationships and communicating effectively across all levels skillful at quickly establishing oneself as a credible go-to resource across the firm and possess a proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver high-impact results.
