Job Description
Neuberger Bermans technology team is looking for a hands-on full-stack application developer with strong expertise in front-end development as well as experience in modern programming languages cloud-native development and advanced database technologies to help us build cutting-edge scalable business solutions. This role will play a key part in designing developing and deploying enterprise softwareparticularly intuitive and engaging user interfacesleveraging modern cloud and containerization platforms.
Responsibilities
Create intuitive front-end solutions that deliver an exceptional user experience for the private markets business
Develop robust scalable and architecturally sound solutions using modern tools and frameworks
Drive future state technology architecture leveraging cloud-native technologies containerization and serverless computing
Build and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure accurate timely and high-quality data movement across platforms
Ensure adherence to best practices in database management security and performance optimization
Explore opportunities for automation and workflow optimization leveraging Python and other tools to enhance efficiency
Provide oversight of all developed solutions and architecture conduct code reviews and mentor developers on best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure DevOps and data engineers to ensure seamless delivery of solutions
Partner with the Application Service Delivery group to maintain accountability for Delivery & Service Management
Requirements
Bachelors degree in computer science Data Science Engineering or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience
1-2 years of hand on experience developing data solutions
Experience infinancial servicesis highly desirable; familiarity with private markets is a strong plus
Strong proficiency in React Angular or other front-end frameworks
Experience is a strong plus
Experience with modern database technologies such as SQL Server PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB or CosmosDB
Understanding of ETL processes experience in building and/or maintaining ETL pipelines
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Git Jenkins or similar is a plus
Exposure to Azure AWS or GCP or other cloud-based technologies is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $85000-$100000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location business sector performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics market benchmarking data any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus which along with base salary and retirement contributions is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance 401(k) life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus commission production or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Companys sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Companys sole discretion consistent with the law.
