We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager Conferences Exhibit Operations to lead the planning execution and oversight of exhibit operations for conferences and trade shows. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless logistics vendor coordination and on-site support while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Oversee and manage exhibit operations for multiple conferences and trade shows annually including planning setup execution and post-event analysis
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients exhibitors venues and contractors throughout the lifecycle of each event
Develop and manage project timelines logistics plans shipping schedules and budgets
Supervise on-site execution including booth installation/dismantle material handling and vendor coordination
Ensure compliance with venue regulations union rules and safety standards
Collaborate with internal teams (sales creative logistics) to ensure alignment on deliverables and event goals
Manage inventory of exhibit assets and coordinate shipping and storage logistics
Troubleshoot issues in real time during events providing timely and effective solutions
Evaluate event performance gather feedback and recommend process improvements
Lead and mentor junior staff and freelance teams as needed
Bachelor s degree in Event Management Business Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
5 years of experience in exhibit operations trade show management or conference logistics
Strong knowledge of exhibit production labor planning freight logistics and venue operations
Proven ability to manage multiple events/projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Excellent communication negotiation and client service skills
Experience working with exhibit vendors general service contractors (GSCs) and union labor teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with event management software a plus
Willingness to travel frequently (30 50%) and work flexible hours including weekends and evenings during events
