REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Management Trainee in Winston-Salem NC or Clarksville TN.

Our Global Graduate Program (GGP) is an entry-level opportunity designed for college graduates with 1-3 years of work experience who want to fast-track their career globally. BAT is a market leader in over 55 countries with over 55000 employees. The GGP prepares you for a Lead Manager role within one year with international career opportunities across BATs footprint.

As a Global Graduate in Operations you will be provided a foundation for your functional and leadership skills as well as business awareness development. Our Operations function is comprised of Manufacturing (RJRT ASC and SFNTC) Leaf Engineering Supply Chain (Logistics Planning Wholesale Services and New Production Introduction) Quality and Procurement. While youll be assigned to one area you will receive exposure to all areas through our rotational program. Youll develop remarkable skills in Operations management understand best practices and learn how to partner with function leaders throughout the organization to achieve results.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Own key projects that drive business and financial results (i.e. Procurement Supply Chain ESG Safety Process Analysis/Optimization Quality Resource Utilization Waste Reduction etc.)
  • Leading your own team (depending on assignment).
  • Deliver assigned projects at a high-level through collaboration and self-leadership.
  • Investigate and analyze more complex issues and defer to higher tiers of support as appropriate.
  • Support Change management initiatives.

What are we looking for

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Engineering Industrial Management Business STEM or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Operations or related field.
  • High academic performance.
  • Prior internship practicum experience; student organization or other leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ambition.
  • Bold and innovative thinkers who thrive in collaborative environments.
  • Committed to making an impact and driving results.
  • Strong eye for business and a strategic approach.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ambition.
  • Eager to take on complex challenges and demonstrate tenacity and perseverance.
  • Ability to learn on the fly and apply learnings to make value-maximizing decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills. Comfortable developing and delivering presentations utilizing data and insights
  • Previous experience with IWS or Lean methodologies.
  • Efficient use of MS Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook SharePoint Teams).
