Sr. SAP S/4 - AMS Delivery Manager - Hybrid
Position Title: On-Site AMS Delivery Manager Application Services (with SAP Focus)
Location: Atlanta
Job Type: Full-time

Reports to: Head of Application Services / Delivery Director

Overview:
The AMS Delivery Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Application Management Services (AMS) for clients across industries with a focus on manufacturing sectors and SAP solutions. This role will involve managing the performance optimization and continual improvement of all enterprise applications including SAPs latest technologies such as SAP S/4HANA SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud Platform while driving business outcomes and innovation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for service delivery managing client relationships overseeing financials farming opportunities for new services and ensuring that the application landscape (including SAP) supports the client s business processes effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Application Services Delivery Management:
o Lead the overall delivery of Application Management Services (AMS) ensuring that all enterprise applications including SAP (S/4HANA Fiori Cloud etc.) function seamlessly in alignment with client objectives.
o Oversee the monitoring maintenance and optimization of enterprise applications driving performance and system stability while minimizing downtime.
o Ensure the applications support core manufacturing processes (e.g. production supply chain inventory management etc.) by focusing on both business and technical needs.
2. SAP Technology Leadership:
o Oversee the integration deployment and optimization of SAP suite of products Non-SAP applications and other SAP and Non-SAP Cloud-based technologies ensuring the latest innovations are leveraged to enhance client processes.
o Identify opportunities to enhance the client s SAP landscape recommending and implementing solutions to drive innovation and digital transformation.
o Drive digitalization and automation initiatives leveraging SAP s latest capabilities to improve operational efficiency reduce costs and enhance decision-making.
3. Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders including director-level and C-suite executives.
o Establish strong trusted relationships with clients understanding their application needs business challenges and goals.
o Regularly engage with clients to ensure their applications specifically SAP align with their evolving business needs and objectives.
o Lead regular service reviews with clients addressing issues performance and future requirements for growth or digital transformation.
4. Farming New Business Opportunities:
o Identify and drive new business opportunities within existing client accounts focusing on expanding the scope of application services including SAP and other enterprise solutions.
o Engage with clients to uncover gaps in their application portfolio suggesting improvements or new technologies that can optimize business processes.
o Develop proposals and solutions to address new client needs ensuring the solution is in line with SAP s latest capabilities.
5. Account Financials & Profitability Management:
o Own the financials for AMS engagements ensuring profitability through efficient resource management and alignment with budgetary goals.
o Manage budgets costs resource allocations and P&L for client accounts ensuring that services are delivered within scope and financial targets are met.
o Analyze and drive the financial performance of the account including opportunities for service expansion and innovation-driven growth.
6. Account Pursuits & Business Development:
o Lead the SAP-focused pursuit process for new business from RFP responses to proposal submissions and contract negotiation.
o Collaborate with sales pre-sales and technical teams to ensure that SAP and other enterprise applications meet the clients needs.
o Provide subject matter expertise in SAP to secure new AMS contracts and ensure that SAP solutions are clearly communicated to potential clients.
7. Innovation & Solutioning:
o Drive innovation sessions with clients to explore new SAP solutions cloud capabilities and other advanced technologies (e.g. SAP S/4HANA SAP Analytics Cloud SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation SAP BTP SAP Business AI SAP BDC etc).
o Facilitate digital transformation strategies with clients aligning SAP capabilities with broader business goals to future-proof their IT landscape.
o Lead initiatives around automation AI and machine learning within the SAP space to improve business operations and reduce costs.
8. Team Leadership & Resource Management:
o Lead and manage an internal team of consultants application experts and analysts ensuring high performance quality delivery and ongoing professional development.
o Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure that client projects are delivered on time and within scope.
o Provide mentorship coaching and performance feedback to team members fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
9. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
o Identify and implement opportunities to optimize processes and workflows for better application performance security and user experience.
o Continuously monitor service delivery to ensure SAP AMS best practices are adhered to ensuring the highest level of service quality and client satisfaction.
o Use feedback loops to adapt and improve service delivery models focusing on both SAP and broader application management processes.
10. Reporting & Performance Metrics:
o Monitor and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) related to service delivery including SLA adherence cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
o Provide regular reports to internal and client-facing leadership showcasing service health financial performance and improvement opportunities.
o Proactively address any service performance gaps to improve overall client satisfaction and application uptime.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
o Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration or a related field.
Experience:
o Minimum of 10-15 years in application management with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role focused on SAP and overall enterprise applications.
o Experience in managing SAP environments including S/4HANA SAP Fiori SAP Cloud Platform and other key SAP technologies.
o Strong background in managing enterprise applications in manufacturing environments and a deep understanding of business processes in areas such as production supply chain inventory and logistics.
o Proven experience in leading AMS teams financial management of accounts and driving profitability and growth through upselling and cross-selling application services.
Technical Skills:
o Deep knowledge of SAP solutions.
o Familiarity with the latest cloud technologies and their integration with SAP.
o Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks service management and application performance monitoring.
o Ability to understand business needs and translate them into SAP and other application solutions.
Leadership & Soft Skills:
o Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate teams to achieve excellence.

Certifications:
o SAP certifications (e.g. SAP S/4HANA SAP Cloud Platform SAP Analytics).
o ITIL Foundation or higher-level certifications.
o Project Management certifications (e.g. PMP Agile).

o Prior experience in manufacturing where application management plays a critical role in operational efficiency.

Sr. SAP Delivery Mgr will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Application Management Services Hybrid on 4 days a week client location Role Overview The ideal candidate will be able to independently design, configure, and deliver VC solutions for complex product and sales scenarios, working closely with business stakeholders to enable flexible, rules-driven product configurations in SAP. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Variant Configuration Independently gather requirements, design, and configure SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC) models. Create and maintain characteristics, classes, configuration profiles, dependencies, procedures, constraints, and object dependencies. Develop variant pricing strategies and integrate VC with SAP SD pricing procedures. Configure bill of materials (BOMs) and routings in collaboration with PP/MM teams. Integration & Testing Integrate VC with SD order management, pricing, ATP (Available-to-Promise), and delivery processes. Coordinate with PP, MM, and PLM teams to ensure seamless integration of configurable products. Lead unit, integration, and UAT testing for VC-related processes. Documentation & Training Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and interfaces. Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams on variant configuration processes. Maintain comprehensive VC documentation and ensure change management compliance. Continuous Improvement Optimize existing configuration models for performance and usability. Propose enhancements to streamline sales order entry for configurable products. Required Skills & Experience SAP SD Expertise 7+ years of SAP SD functional experience, including 3+ years in Variant Configuration (LO-VC). Proven track record of independently delivering VC solutions in multiple end-to-end implementations. Strong understanding of SD pricing, order-to-cash, and integration with PP, MM, and FICO. Variant Configuration Skills Hands-on experience creating characteristics, classes, dependencies, and configuration profiles. Ability to set up multi-level BOMs and routings for configurable products. Knowledge of Super BOMs and Super Routings. Familiarity with IPC (Internet Pricing and Configurator) and/or S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) is a plus. Soft Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable engaging directly with business users and translating requirements into SAP VC solutions. Preferred Qualifications SAP S/4HANA Sales Certification. Experience with Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) in S/4HANA. Industry experience in manufacturing, automotive, high-tech, or industrial equipment sectors. Typical Deliverables Fully functional variant configuration models in SAP. Updated BOMs, routings, and pricing conditions for configurable products. Functional specifications for VC-related enhancements. Testing scenarios, results, and sign-off documentation.
