Job Summary
Our client a boutique plaintiffs securities litigation firm is seeking a mid-level or senior attorney to join its Midtown Manhattan office as an Associate or Counsel. This is an in-person role offering a unique opportunity to join a growing firm focused on shareholder derivative litigation in federal and state courts nationwide. Key Requirements:
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collegial team-oriented environment
Exceptional research writing and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to case work
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated interest or experience in securities law and corporate fiduciary duties
Familiarity with financial markets accounting standards and finance theory
Prior experience at a plaintiffs securities firm Big Law or in complex litigation is highly desirable
This is a ground-floor opportunity for a motivated litigator to play a key role in impactful cases while advancing within a specialized and respected practice.
This is a partner track position that requires a minimum of 6 years of experience. Litigation experience is required with a focus on commercial or securities a plus (they are open to plaintiff or defense side experience) big law experience is much preferred. Strong academics very stable backgrounds only.
