Overview
Imperative Systems is looking for an amazingly talented Sense and Warn Radar Watch Technician to join our team! In this role you will travel abroad and monitor threat tracking and command and control systems conduct real-time coordination with internal and external agencies and provide both operational and technical support for the client s tracking and alert program.

What Youll Be Doing:

Provide 24/7/365 monitoring technical analysis and operating capability that detects and alerts personnel to impending indirect fire attacks on specified properties and DS-designated parties

Maintain and sustain Sense and Warn (S&W) radar systems command and control (C2) systems and mass notification equipment to preserve capability to detect and alert personnel to threats

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on S&W systems and components in accordance with ST-approved SOPs including troubleshooting resolution tracking and reporting within established parameters

Configure initialize administer operate and monitor all S&W rapid deployment equipment component systems over closed and secured wireless/local area networks

Provide systems engineering site surveys design integration and installation of new updated or replacement S&W systems and components

Provide expert knowledge of radar systems Command and Control systems communication networks and support development of requirements data analysis and fielded system support

Requirements

What Required Skills Youll Bring:

• Experience in Force Protection technologies through protective services contracts or military experience.
  
• Experience operating or maintaining radar technology electronic systems mass notification systems for the US Government
  
• Candidate must hold a valid U.S. passport or can obtain a U.S. passport.
  
• Candidate must be able to obtain a class 1 DOS medical clearance.
  
• TOP SECRET level Security Clearance required or ability to obtain one.
  
• Great written and verbal communication skills
  

• Ability to work alone or within a group.
  
• Bachelors Degree in engineering math physical sciences or aeronautics.
• Basic mechanical understanding; experience working with tools.
  
• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) transmit and receive technologies.
  
• The position requires daily interface with customers at numerous levels. Candidate must possess and use a high degree of tact and interpersonal communication skills in daily interactions with team members clients vendors and end-users.
