RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan Coordinate and oversee traffic control operations
- Communicate with your crew to keep everyone safe.
- Supervise and direct traffic control crews to ensure safe traffic flow.
- Inspect work zone to confirm proper placement of signs barricades and other traffic control devices to comply with state regulations
- Providing outstanding service and protection to customers
- Protect the companys employees customers and assets against losses injuries and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices.
- Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
- Previous experience in an outdoor labor setting i.e. Traffic Control Landscaping Manufacturing Construction Utilities Military or Skilled Operator
- 3 Years Traffic Control Experience / ATSSA Certificate
- TCT/TCS Certification Preferred
- TMA Driver
- Able to Read and Interpret Blueprints
- OSHA 10/OSHA 30 Preferred
- Familiarity with a client-based schedule
- Valid state drivers license
- Steel Toed or Composite Toed Boots
- Comfortable standing 8-12 hours a day
- Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.
- Accustomed to working in all types of weather and in traffic.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including a drug test.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee must be able to successfully manage the physical demands of this position which include the following:
- Hours of operation may vary based on staffing needs and workload.
- Majority of time will be in the field.
- The position may work in outside conditions that include inclement weather not limited to heat cold humidity and exposure to dust and asphalt.
- Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles moving vehicles and occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites.
- Noise levels in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
- Position may lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- If necessary in the field stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions; employee lifts pushes pulls or carries objects.
