Job Description

Our client an Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Practice Manager to support its Investigations White Collar and Antitrust practices in Washington DC.

This position will work closely with practice group leadership and cross-functional teams across business operations including Finance Talent Business Development Innovation IT and Communications to drive execution of strategic goals manage daily operations and support attorney performance resource allocation client engagement and profitability. Acting as a chief of staff the Practice Manager is a trusted advisor responsible for delivering insights driving initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across the practice.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Partnering with practice chairs and business teams to execute strategic plans focused on growth revenue and reputation.
Analyzing financial performance productivity and timekeeper metrics to deliver actionable insights.
Managing attorney work allocation staffing onboarding and professional development coordination in collaboration with Talent.
Supporting client value initiatives and acting as a liaison for in-house legal operations teams to improve service delivery.
Overseeing daily operational functions including budgeting meeting planning billing matter management and internal communications.
Collaborating across departments to drive innovation process improvement and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of experience in practice management within a law firm as a practice manager
Background in Investigations White Collar or Antitrust practices strongly preferred.
Bachelors degree required; JD or MBA preferred.
Strong analytical communication project management and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
This is a high-impact role for an experienced professional eager to shape and lead strategic and operational functions within a nationally recognized legal practice.
