Job Summary
Our client an Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Counsel or Senior Counsel to join its Health Care & Life Sciences practice in the Washington D.C. office.
The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience in food law with a strong focus on regulatory matters transactions and due diligence. Prior experience at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is highly preferred and familiarity with U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) requirements is a plus.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
Minimum of six years of food law experience including regulatory compliance transactional support and diligence
Experience working with or at the FDA is required; USDA knowledge is beneficial
Strong communication analytical and drafting skills
