Job Description
Position: Equipment Room Assistant
Department: Equipment Room
Supervisor: Alina Patrick Equipment Assistant Manager ( )
Requested availability: One 5-hour shift per week either 9:30AM-2:30PM or 3:00PM-8:00PM. (Please note the 3:00PM-8:00PM shift is not available on Saturdays and Sundays.)
This work-study position is responsible for assisting the Equipment Staff during Equipment Room office hours. Essential functions and duties include:
Help the Equipment Staff deliver equipment to students at the front counter following the Equipment Room policies.
Help prepare and return equipment orders for classes and for other ICP-related activities.
Help maintain all cameras and related equipment organized on shelves and update barcoding as per Equipment Staff directions.
Assist the Equipment Staff in performing preventive maintenance on all ICP equipment as needed.
Assist the Equipment Staff with photographic problem-solving.
Assist in other general office duties and help the Equipment Staff with special projects as may be required.
