The Office of the City Administrators (CAO) Human Resources (HR) division is hiring an innovative forward-thinking and solution-oriented Division Director of Recruitment and Operations. Reporting to the Human Resources Director the Division Director of Recruitment and Operations will provide strategic and day-to-day oversight over major HR service areas including talent acquisition (examinations hiring operations) and payroll services.

Qualifications :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. AND
Experience: Five (5) years of verifiable professional level experience in the following areas of: recruitment and selection employment life cycle management workforce planning HR consulting or HRIS/people analytics of which three (3) years must include supervising professionals.
SUBSTITUTION:
Education Substitution: Additional qualifying experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One year (2000 hours) of qualifying experience will be considered equivalent to 30 semester units/45 quarter units.
Experience Substitution: A Masters Degree in Human Resources Public Administration Business Administration Industrial/Organizational Psychology Management Business Information Systems Juris Doctor (J.D.) or closely related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional non-supervisory experience. (Note: the advanced degree cannot substitute for the supervisory experience)

Compensation information: $80.4500 - $102.6500 (hourly)/ $167336 to $213512 (annually)
