Job Description
Position Summary
As a Production Assembler on the Harvey Team you will be responsible for assembling component parts or pieces according to a specific set of blueprints or schematics. You will use a variety of hand and power tools to build structurally sound products and ensure quality standards are met. This position requires attention to detail the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Qualifications :
- Assemble and fabricate products using company-supplied hand and power tools (e.g. staple guns drills etc.)
- Read and follow production schematics or blueprints to assemble components accurately
- Inspect and verify quantities of parts and ensure products meet quality standards
- Identify tag and segregate non-conforming products as required
- Maintain accurate parts inventory and report discrepancies
- Train new or less experienced team members as needed
- Support continuous improvement and follow 5S/housekeeping standards
- Maintain safe work practices including proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
- Prior experience with hand and power tools such as staple guns and drills preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Must be able to bend lift (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
