Job Description
Role Summary
The Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC) is seeking an Oracle APEX Developer to design and develop additional features in a custom APEX application to meet regulatory needs. The Developer will upgrade and enhance the existing Oracle APEX application working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. The role involves SQL/PLSQL development integration of daily uploads optimization of data handling and ensuring compliance with industry standards and OCCC s security policies.
Key Responsibilities
Upgrade and maintain existing Oracle APEX applications.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into system functionality.
Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts for application functionality and performance.
Add features to support daily data uploads and ensure seamless data synchronization.
Ensure compliance with industry standards OCCC security policies and data protection regulations.
Support database management optimization and plugin integration to extend application capabilities.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
Required Certifications:
Oracle APEX Developer Certified Expert
Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate
Minimum Requirements (Required):
8 years: Web Technologies (JavaScript HTML CSS basic to intermediate)
3 years: Oracle APEX (application development)
3 years: Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (data modeling backend programming)
3 years: Database management and optimization
3 years: APEX Plugins integration
