PSA position is available to work at anytime including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include:
- Provide 24/7 care and support
- Monitor and assist with daily living activities (e.g. bathing dressing grooming)
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
- Transport individuals to medical appointments and community activities using own transportation
- Engage clients in recreational and social activities
- Document daily observations and report any changes in clients condition
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
- Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate safety measures
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress
- Assist with light housekeeping duties
- Promote independence and encourage skill development in clients
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Staff must be computer literate and have a strong commitment to working with the DD population.
Qualifications :
Must have a valid driver license and love working with the DD population !
